How do we keep the trashcan from smelling bad in the summer heat?

Ah, summer. The sun is blazing, the air is thick, and I, your humble trash can, am suffering. The heat turns my contents into a science experiment gone wrong. It’s not my fault I reek! But you can be my hero. Let’s work together to keep things fresh.
