Can the planter boxes be mounted on top of a low wall, or do they need to sit on the ground?

But here’s the catch: if I’m a heavy fellow, made of terra cotta or thick wood, and you stuff me with wet soil, I’m going to feel really top-heavy. In that case, the ground is my best friend. I need that solid, level surface to spread my weight and avoid a dramatic tumble—nobody wants a cracked pot and spilled dirt. Also, if your wall is crumbling or just a thin garden fence, I’ll politely decline. I need a wall that can handle my weight and the wind’s push.

So, to answer you honestly: yes, I can be mounted on a low wall if I’m designed for it and the wall is strong. But if I’m heavy or the wall is flimsy, I’m much happier sitting on the ground.
