This design maximizes my planting soil volume, providing a more stable and generous root environment for larger trees or expansive ground covers. It presents a cleaner, more minimalist aesthetic. Repairing pavement beneath it is a major surgery on my body, and the design choice is locked in, offering less future flexibility.

So, which is better for me? There is no universal answer. It depends on my personality. For a formal boulevard or a space desiring a bold, contemporary statement, the continuous planter makes a profound declaration. The wisest choice understands my needs: it blends aesthetics with practicality, ensuring I remain not just visually appealing, but vibrantly alive and easily cared for, season after season.
