How does granite’s abrasion resistance compare to concrete?
Granite and concrete are two widely used materials in construction, but their abrasion resistance varies significantly due to differences in composition and hardness. Granite, a natural igneous rock, boasts exceptional abrasion resistance thanks to its high quartz content and dense crystalline structure. On the Mohs hardness scale, granite typically ranks between 6 and 7, making it highly resistant to scratching and wear.
